Responsible for producing up to 11 fashion pages and 4 creative pages every month across both titles, including styling and directing Second Fashion stories and still life shoots.
Other key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring the smooth running of the fashion cupboard and managing interns and Fashion Juniors.
• Assisting the Fashion Editor on Main Fashion shoots both in the UK and abroad.
• Sourcing clothes and props, arranging shoots, commissioning and liaising with photographers, model agencies, studios and make-up artists. Sending out call-sheets.
• Maintaining positive relationships with PR’s; representing the magazine at events and press shows; securing monthly promotional opportunities; keeping up to date on the latest trends, launches and developments in the industry to ensure we’re ahead of our competitors.
• Researching feature ideas; pitching innovative concepts for the fashion pages to the Fashion Editor; reacting to breaking news and analysing trend reports to keep content relevant and up-to-date.
• When required, contributing, styling or writing for other channels including travel, celebrity cover stories, beauty, reader features and makeovers.
• Contributing exciting and original content for prima.co.uk; using google trends and analytics to keep content up to date; co-managing Prima’s Instagram account and contributing to social media channels including Facebook and Twitter.
