Project and Marketing Executive, The Coffee Music ProjectAllegra

The Coffee Music Project is a platform for emerging talent that runs music competitions in London, New York and Los Angeles. I manage the project across our global sites,
co-ordinating events, partnerships and the marketing strategy. My role includes:
- Managing our events. Sourcing venues, overseeing logistics and marketing the events through a mixture of channels. I successfully doubled our ticket sales year on year.
- Recruitment of high calibre artists using a mix of channels, creating artist databases to track engagement and build an accurate picture of emerging musicians.
- Building strong relationships with leading music-focused institutions across cities.
- Identifying and securing event partners and sponsors to meet revenue targets.
- Managing all content, marketing, PR and social media activity.
- Sourcing reputable venues across London, New York and Los Angeles.
- Co-ordinating relations between other Allegra Strategy teams including London Coffee Festival, The London Coffee Guide and World Coffee Portal.
- Leading a new project for Allegra, The Coffee Film Awards. This includes setting up a website, recruiting and engaging independent film makers and commercial brands, setting up and running social media accounts, and recruiting industry judges.

FundraiserFree Tibet

Free Tibet is almost entirely funded by it’s supporters. As the fundraiser in a small fundraising department we split responsibility for different funding streams but collaborated on overall fundraising strategy. At Free Tibet, my role included:
- Collaboration on Free Tibet’s three year strategy.
- Managing large amounts of fundraising volunteers and interns.
- Creating content for digital and print publications.
- Overseeing all aspects of supporter care, liaising with major donors,
supporters and other high-stakes individuals.
- Project managing TibetFest, a large ticketed event, from conception to final.
This includes liaising with speakers, events teams and collaborating across
internal departments to produce an informative, engaging event for a wide
ranging audience.
- Managing the Free Tibet shop, from product sourcing to marketing.
- Evaluating and subsequently promoting successful community fundraising
initiatives.
- Project management of all fundraising appeals, a major funding stream for
Free Tibet.
- Managing grant-applications.
- Managing crowd-funding campaigns.
- Evaluating major fundraising streams and implementing policy to address it. I
produced a major report on declining digital commerce and subsequently
our online store surpassed budgeted performance.
