Free Tibet is almost entirely funded by it’s supporters. As the fundraiser in a small fundraising department we split responsibility for different funding streams but collaborated on overall fundraising strategy. At Free Tibet, my role included: - Collaboration on Free Tibet’s three year strategy. - Managing large amounts of fundraising volunteers and interns. - Creating content for digital and print publications. - Overseeing all aspects of supporter care, liaising with major donors, supporters and other high-stakes individuals. - Project managing TibetFest, a large ticketed event, from conception to final. This includes liaising with speakers, events teams and collaborating across internal departments to produce an informative, engaging event for a wide ranging audience. - Managing the Free Tibet shop, from product sourcing to marketing. - Evaluating and subsequently promoting successful community fundraising initiatives. - Project management of all fundraising appeals, a major funding stream for Free Tibet. - Managing grant-applications. - Managing crowd-funding campaigns. - Evaluating major fundraising streams and implementing policy to address it. I produced a major report on declining digital commerce and subsequently our online store surpassed budgeted performance.
