Helena Postigo Matey’s life has been a tragic-paradox since she was born the day of the death and she is named after greek myth character, Helen of Troy. Formed academically on graphic design and advertising, besides being a "designer" Helena rathers a wider approach to define herself, something like: a digital cowboy-girl who wastes her money developing 35 mm film rolls, going to concerts, getting tattoos based on a dualist self-developed theory, and filling notepads with poems.
Her design approach is strategy-driven and concept-based. Research and acknowledgement on the final customers and users is a must when starting a project, while crafting a visual and verbal narrative is key to turn brands into rich and meaningful experiences.
She worked previously at Erretres designing digital content for different channels; and at Edmmond Studios doing art direction and design for fashion products and the brand's media and content. Currently she is working @ Interbrand as a Junior Designer.
