    Shop Floor AssistantLark
     - London, United KingdomFull Time
    · I worked at Lark, a gift shop, on and off for four years as I was often asked to return during my university's holidays. I was later promoted to manager. · My main responsibility as manager was buying the boutique's stock. Here I was able to use my in depth understanding of our customer segment's most likely purchases and combine it with my ability to present them in an appealing fashion on the shop floor. · This role has given me excellent customer service and sales skills. For example, my intuition and perception of our customer's needs significantly contributed to exceeding Lark's sales target. When working there during weekends we frequently accomplished £3,000 in revenue per day - our target was £1,500 every Saturday. · I was often given responsibility for the shop window as I have an artistic eye and am good at understanding the visual appeal of the shop. · I often worked alone and was trained to cash up and open and close the shop.
