    Showroom AssistantRalph Lauren
     - London, United KingdomInternship
As an intern at Ralph Lauren, I acted as a personal assistant to the menswear Wholesale Sales Team. I worked during both the Pre-Fall and Fall 19 wholesale markets as both large department stores and small independents viewed the forthcoming collections. It was my responsibility to manage the diaries of eight senior figures throughout the two month appointment period. I was in constant communication with the sales team regarding changes to their schedules, specific needs each client may have and what samples had been added or dropped from the line. Before each market I had to manage a complex database as hundreds of samples were shipped in from the Milan head office. I had to go through a very specific and structured process to prepare the showroom for each forthcoming season, following a large collection booklet which I used to memorise the details and location of every sample. Other duties included preparing complex 'Buy Sheets' on Microsoft Excel on behalf of the sales team, and forwarding them on to luxury department stores such as 'Browns' for review. As well as these responsibilities, I had to take on a large amount of general office responsibilities as well as; tracking and checking in large deliveries, merchandising showrooms and assisting the press department with sourcing samples to send to fashion publications. My time at Ralph Lauren instilled in me excellent secretarial and managerial skills.

    Retail Management TeamWimbledon Tennis Championsips
     - London, United KingdomFull Time
Throughout my two consecutive years on the retail management team at Wimbledon, I was in charge of the largest retail space in the grounds. Managing up to 80 members of retail staff on a daily basis, I oversaw the smooth running of the largest shop at one of the largest sporting events in the world. Working my way up from a retail assistant position I embarked upon aged 18, I grew to become a key figure within the retail team at Wimbledon. Praised for my strong motivational and leadership skills, I contributed to an incredible team effort to achieve unrivalled customer service at such a prestigious sporting event. Key responsibilities I executed on a daily basis included; rota management, conducting team briefings four times a day, overseeing the receipt of large deliveries, providing sensitive, calm and reliable support to every member of staff, liaising with the Retail Executive of the club to discuss sales targets and team performance. Three of the most valuable skills I have learned during my five years at Wimbledon are, patience, team work and time management.

Academic Performance in JournalismUniversity of Roehampton London
I was privileged to be the only student to receive this award out of the eighty people in my academic year that studied journalism. It was awarded to me for my participation in lectures throughout my three years of study, for the quality of my coursework over that time and also for the extra hours I spent drafting assignments with my tutors. Lastly, it was for the quality of my final year dissertation, for which I received a first class honours.
