• Managing day to day operations and maintaining regular contact & reporting to the owner of the business, who is based in USA. • Responsible for the management information systems developing and preparing a number of different reports as required by the owner to manage the business and help him with his decision making. • Preparing and performing analytical reviews on weekly sales, sales volume and product sales and re-stocking. • Assessing the results of new products writing reports and analysis. • Manage the finance function in particular looking after the sales and purchase ledger and credit control. • Manage a number of customer accounts including the largest account – John Lewis, liaising with their head buyers and finance teams. • Liaise with various John Lewis stores in London and surrounding areas and assist them with the shop floor merchandising of our stock. • Communicating with clients and working with the marketing team to ensure that sales deadlines are met at all times. • Working closely with designers to produce marketing material for new season buys and liaising with suppliers to ensure that products are delivered on schedule and monitoring the volume of orders. • Supporting the head buyer with decision making regarding new lines and maintaining sales levels. • Liaise with all major suppliers and ensure smooth supply chain functionality. • Assisting with managing the supply chain and meeting customer delivery timelines. • Liaise with our web development team and manage the online merchandising. • Monitoring and engaging with all forms of social media and helping drive sales throughout.
• Assisting customers with their purchases, providing world class customer service at all times. • Working closely with personal stylist in providing personalised services to customers and assist with personal shopping experience. • Responsible of particular product lines and maintaining sales levels, investigate declining sales and take necessary measures to ensure the products are strategically placed and effectively displayed. • Visual merchandising and monitoring bestselling lines ensuring that stock levels are always maintained. • Training new members of staff on products features and sales techniques. • Attending and contributing to training and buying sessions at Paul Smith head office to get insight of each collection and ideas behind each collection to help with sales and communicate with customers.
