About me
My name is Henry Jay Kamara and I am a British-born artist of Sierra Leone descent fluent in both English and Krio. I am an ambitious storyteller. Photographer and talented researcher with a degree in English and creative writing. My book includes a mix of photo essays, portraits, short films, videos, interviews, articles, social content, consumer insight reports, books and galleries. I have worked both in London and in Sierra Leone, Ethiopia and all across Europe collecting stories. Driven by my passion for current affairs and to help position the world through alternative lenses and provide people with a means by which to deconstruct stereotypes and discover the truth.
