As a designer I aim to provide to a market with a love for bold colours and clashing prints, women’s scarfs and gift accessories are my main focus and currently, I have a collection for both. I make sure to research foreseeable trends to help shape my colour palette and design ideas. I believe colour is the most important aspect to a design and although I am care free with pairing different shades, I always make sure that the final designs are harmonising.
I have a keen eye for detail and start off each collection with fine liner drawings and either gouache or watercolour paintings, as you can see in my work I include detail with simple marks and shapes so that they have a good balance and are fun with lots of aspects. I like to mix detail and abstract such as simple spots or stripes or marks found in the detailed drawings or paintings.
