About me

I'm Holly, an illustrator based in Brighton. My work often explores musings from everyday life, memories and daydreams through playful characters and sickeningly bright colours. I've worked on a range of projects including brand illustrations, children’s book illustrations and editorial illustrations, and I love to explore themes of femininity, friendship and daydreaming through my digital illustrations. I graduated from Norwich University of the Arts back in 2018 with a first-class degree in photography. When I’m not drawing, I'm a frequent beach-dweller and am currently writing and sharing my vegan discoveries through V-Land UK.

• Print Social X Holly FarndellI collaborated with Print Social on my first ever t-shirt design! The campaign runs for 16 days and Print Social donates 5% of profits to the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.

  ~ festive cards ! ~In November, I set myself the challenge of creating a range of Christmas / festive cards and to open up an Etsy store. I wanted to make these ~festive~ rather than explicitly christmassy because I personally can sometimes be a teeeeny bit of a scrooge, and that is ok! I worked my butt off and I'm super proud of how they came out. Very excited to work on more illustration projects and products next year!

  Golden PromiseGolden Promise is a documentation of sunlight and the changing of seasons. It is an observation of my experience with seasonal affective disorder and coping with the light and darkness of life.
