About me
As a very imaginative individual who really enjoys her work, I love to come up with creative solutions to design problems and my ultimate goal is to use design to make a difference. I have completed a BTEC National Diploma, along with a BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design, and have been working in the creative industry since 2010.
Projects
  • International Women's Day
International Women's DayInitially inspired by the No More Page Three campaign, I wanted to raise awareness of the damage of objectification. Using the concept of paper women, I tore, ripped, crumpled and painted them in order to illustrate the facts within each poster’s headline. I then expanded this idea into a guerilla advertisement by decorating an area in Southbank, London.
  • Skin Cancer Awareness
Skin Cancer AwarenessIn this self initiated brief I set myself the task to find a way to raise awareness of the dangers of skin cancer without resorting to shock-tactics. I instead used humour and memorable imagery to send the message. I then wanted to extend the campaign further by creating an adaptable leaflet design, as well as a billboard which would use light-sensitive ink to make viewers aware whether or not there was a UV light danger at that present time.
Work history
    Graphic Designer
Whilst freelancing, I one day landed at Hogarth Worldwide in Milton Keynes and ended up staying for the best part of three years. Although work was all on the Santander account, there was a variety of sub-brands within the account that enabled me to do a variety of creative design work. This includes external design such as campaign items everyone will see in branch, infographics for the Santander social media sites, illustrative work seen by the employees only, design for the internal website, interactive PDFs, and storyboarding for animations and motion graphics. I have since transferred to the London office in order to work on new accounts (such as Acer, The AA, Toni&Guy, Herbal Essences, Colgate and HSBC), to further expand my design skills and broaden my horizons.

     -
Whilst freelancing I worked on some wonderful brands such as Audi, Whitbread, Laura Ashley, Debenhams, Barclays and Santander, at great companies; BBH (Bartle Bogle Hegarty), Communisis and Hogarth. I was required to do artwork for print, image retouching, layout design, illustration and more. I was very happy to settle in at a moments notice and felt confident and comfortable working in teams as well as alone.
