I am currently working for myself doing a variety of different things. ie modelling, trend forecasting, creative direction, brand study, styling and talent management.
My last job was for A number of names, I was involved in the setting up and opening of the new store in Soho. I recently left the job as I felt like I had learnt all I could and feel like I can use my experience there to further myself in a new role. It was great to be able to be involved in the creation of the store and also to get a chance to be involved in the buying aspects and also marketing the store for the right audience. Since leaving ANON I have been working freelance and have been involved in lots of exciting projects. I have also done quite a few modelling jobs recently and in doing so been heavily involved in the styling of myself in those shoots. I recently was featured in the Adidas Tubular Campaign. I have also been very involved with a company called Flamingo , working with them on different tasks mainly questions and interviews on my opinions of the current state of streetwear and trends. I was recently in Paris for Fashion week, my friend was showing his brand in the 424 section at Capsule show. In Paris I visited many different showrooms and also had the chance to talk and learn from some great designers and creative directors. In Paris I was shown a lot of interest from brands wanting my opinion on their collections and also the general feel and target markets they are aiming for. Paris was a great experience and something that I enjoyed but also learnt alot from. •Four to the Floor - Channel 4 I recently styled a video for a relatively new channel 4 documentary focusing on Music. I have worked on many different lookbooks and editorials for friends and colleagues. •Frank Ocean – I also recently assisted on a shoot for Frank Oceans new magazine which will be releasing with his album. •Siobhan Bell is a great friend of mine, and myself and a friend have been heavily involved in her creative direction ie. Styling , social media profiles and target audiences. •Modelling – • BBC • Adidas • Lazy Oaf • Nike • Complex
I worked as a dealer support advisor, I was the contact for dealers needs and also to help calculate and arrange finance deals. It was a job I took to earn some income. I needed some full time job experience and I have adapted and also managed to succeed. I learnt to be committed to a company and to work hard to benefit not only myself but my colleagues and also the company.
I was on a temporary contract at Waitrose head office in Bracknell. My job title was a customer service advisor and I was stationed in a Waitrose call centre, I worked flexible hours and dealt with calls from customers regarding website use, website errors, delivery issues and any general complaints. During my time there I also became familiar with some different software including the Siebel logging system, and the Cisco phone system. Overall my time with Waitrose taught me about the importance of customer service and I was also given a week's training by Waitrose on customer service.
I previously worked/interned at ANON for a eight month period. During my time working there I have learnt a lot about the fashion industry today and its history, I was luckily given the chance to meet with many influential people and communicate with them and asked a lot of questions to ensure my knowledge of fashion commercially and underground is as good as it can be. During my time at anon I took charge of press returns and booking clothes out, I also had the chance to pick out clothes for gifts for artists such as ASAP Rocky, Tyler The Creator and Flatbush Zombies. Working in the showroom at Anon , I got to handle merchandising jobs, I worked as a stylist, I also dealt with sales and press and have learnt about all different types of software used in the fashion industry i.e. (Zedonk) as well as this I was also a part of working at three sample sales and worked in the Bape Store and also been to many Jacket Required events. Anon's showroom is in Shoreditch London so I have also experienced commuting and got to know the east of London very well
Alongside working at ANON*, I had a flexible freelance position at BAPE as a shop floor assistant. I have learned many shop floor skills and communicating skills with the buying customer.
