About me
Throughout my degree in fashion communication, I enjoyed several areas of study and built a wide variety of skills to cater towards my chosen practises. I’m driven by the whole creative process, from the initial ideas and brainstorming of a project, to the distribution of content- I love thinking about my target audience, and how to connect with them. I’ve always found the relationship between art work and user really exciting, what their reaction could be, what they might take from my work, and how I can influence their decision. Whether it delights, disgusts, or just questions, I want to leave an impression on the reader. My key values as a practitioner lie with identity, story-telling, expression, emotion and experience. These areas inform my style of work and ground my interest and passion for aesthetic, provoking design. Through creative direction, marketing and branding I try to innovatively think how I can stimulate my viewer and engage them. Influence from insights and research have been a crucial part to the success of any project, and really informs every idea. A solid understanding of Adobe has enabled me to create content for online platforms, social media, advertising projects as well as lots of printed publications and documents.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working on the diversity of each different project and adapting my creativity to each and every one of them with the team. During my placement with I-D Magazine I was assisting the editor and worked closely on some of the design for the next issue. I learnt about the process and production of publication design, from initial ideas to layout, through to printing. I also touched on preparation for photo shoots, styling, planning collaborative projects and interviews covered on online platforms as well.
