I've directed global brand campaigns for Adidas, Nike, Rapha, Hyundai, Standard Chartered Bank and Loewe. My perfect job is people focused short-docs or editorial style films. I've edited TVCs with proper offline > online workflows; but also fast turnaround cut 'n grade edits. I use Premier with After Effects on an iMac PRO; which I'm happy to set up at your agency. I directed various films for Adidas.
Coming home to London after having worked in Mongolia for two years; I took the opportunity to work in The Times and The Sun's new social video teams. We created scores of videos per week from studio interviews, to facebook Lives, to snapchat videos to short-form documentary. It was great to be at the time and place where publishing and video content collide. And fun too.
On a freelance basis I edited and shot many films for Nike, Hyundai, World Gold Council and others.
Who or what was devilfish? It was the finest broadcast creative agency in London for many years, before going extinct. However, in the fish's most prolific years, I was the in-house editor. I cut many a broadcast ident, brand-film, campaign and promo; for NatGeo, Sky, Canal+, Discovery, BBC, MTV, ITV, Five and many others. I still use the wisdom from the fish in jobs today.
