  • Illusion of permanence
    Illusion of permanenceAn installation featuring multiple mixed-media settings by London based artists Gavin Mitchell & Ian Carr. Each setting explores and challenges established notions of Function, Structure and Conformity through Ambiguity, Contradiction and Imperfection. The exhibition featured my soundscapes and moving-image compositions constructed from a fusion of abstract and literal audio and video recordings from around the city.   • Fog
    FogThis piece of work is a collaboration between Amos Cochran and myself. Amos Cochran is an American musician whose compositions for film, theater, radio, and television have received many honors, including, in 2010, a Kennedy Center Excellence in Composing Award.   • Tokaido
    TokaidoThis piece of work is a collaboration between percussionists and composers Zands, Louise Anna Duggan and myself. “Tokaido” is the name of the Shinkansen bullet train line from Kyoto to Tokyo and the piece was inspired by the feeling of hurtling through various landscapes, towns and cities. It features a Nepalese singing bowl that remains constant throughout and a manipulated Turkish darabuka which opens the piece and reappears in various guises. The journey reaches its end as Mount Fuji enters
