Projects
- Logitech PackagingLogitech's gaming products originally had packaging visually similar to their office products. Through Salt Branding in San Fransisco I was involved in creating over 100 distinctive X-ray illustrations for a complete and very successful revamp - sales doubled in the first year that the new pack designs were introduced. My involvement has continued for many years afterwards as new products were introduced and the design went through a number of iterations.
- Cover of the CenturyThis was awarded the 'Cover of the Century' by the Professional Publishers Association after a public vote. The Radio Times is one of the oldest & best selling magazines in Britain & then part of the BBC. It’s a British institution. The Daleks were about to return to Doctor Who after an absence of 17 years. That same week was also to be a general election. Two big events in the same week deserved special treatment - a ‘gatefold’, which folded out to double the size of the cover.

I created over 100 photo-realistic 3D images of gaming products for packaging and promotion. Many of the images were complex ‘X Rays’ showing the advanced technology inside. Initally I worked with Salt Branding in San Francisco and subsequently directly for Logitech. I art directed many of the images, working directly with the executive of the Games division.
The work involved liaising on a daily basis with Logitech's art directors & print producers in California, together with the product design team in Dublin (Design Partners), the technical design team in Switzerland and production teams in Taiwan and China.
