    Community OrganiserJustice for Black Lives
    London, United KingdomPart Time
Community Organiser for Justice for Black Lives (JFBL), a youth-led activist group seeking intersectional, abolitionist justice for all Black lives through protest, political projects and outreach programmes. We were responsible for some of the larger BLM protests during the summer and helped facilitate other smaller protests by giving access to legal observers, medics and PPE. Through JFBL I have organised large scale protests in South London, co-ordinating large teams of volunteers, legal observers, medics and speakers. I have also sat on panels representing JFBL, discussing topics around Reparatory Justice, Anti-Racism, Ethics in Creative Industries and Black Masculinity in relation to Mental Health. I have also been responsible for liaising with other, similar Anti-Capitalist and Anti Racist organisations for joint efforts in creating mass direct action. Through this organisation, I also curate outreach schemes for youth centres, including Lives Not Knives in Croydon. I am responsible for the co-ordination of our volunteers and mentors as well as the creation of new and engaging educational games and activities that teach youth about Pre and Post-Colonial History and Local Level Politics. I also create educational infographics for social media and host IGTV discussion panels.
