About me
Glasgow School of Art undergraduate specialising in embroidered textiles for fashion and interior. Excellent skills in hand and machine embroidery, digital, CAD and innovative approaches to surface design combined with a collaborative project-driven practice and interest within the textiles industry.

  • An Exploration of Movement through the Photographic Lens
    An Exploration of Movement through the Photographic LensThis collection explores the relationship between movement and film photography. As a means of research and drawing various film distortion techniques and xerography were undertaken in order to illustrate movement. Interest in film photography led to experimentation with various plastics. Laser-cutting was chosen as a tool to create desired shapes; sublimation transfer technique was selected to tranfer xerography designs. This collection is created for lighting and boutique interiors.
  • Grace Jones Funk
    Grace Jones FunkTaking inspiration from music and fashion diva Grace Jones and her 80s music video art created by Jean-Paul Goude I was working on millions of xerographies from which I then moved on to sampling with all kinds of clash’y materials, colourful beads with funky textures. I explored fabric manipulation techniques in combination with embellishment. Shiny disco fabrics combined with pastel colours and stripes. Going a bit crazy in a good way with this I was seeking for the unconventional look and ‘screaming’ colours yet subtly pleasing the eye. Many ideas of party dress were transforming into something of my own.
  • Lithuanian Seaside
    Lithuanian SeasideLithuanian seaside with bits of it being part of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre seems analogous to a sustainable concept. It is natural, colourful and it has its history related to environment preservation solutions. The primary inspiration for the project was taken from weathervanes, created in the 19th century in the Curonian Lagoon.
