Senior social media and marketing executiveMott MacDonald
    London, United KingdomFull Time
I was recruited to manage and shape the Mott MacDonald employer brand within the UK, a brand-new role that required a proactive individual to get stuck in and make it their own! Having joined the Group marketing team as a social media and marketing executive, I was soon promoted to a more senior position. Within this role I have managed, planned, and executed several global social media campaigns while line managing a member of staff. I have always had to find creative and innovative ways to work closely with stakeholders (including those higher up) to achieve our wider employer brand strategic goals. A huge part of my role is educating colleagues around the company, so I regularly carry out social media and brand training sessions globally. Currently, I am involved in leading the social media global strategic review alongside a number of key stakeholders.

BA(Hons) Creative Design with MarketingUniversity of Northampton
     - Northampton, United Kingdom
My degree course taught me to think analytically and gave me the ability to manage projects strategically. Regular group work in small to large teams improved my ability to build effective working relationships as well as allowing me to hone my capabilities as a leader. I also developed a keen eye for detail and am now able to aid my creative thoughts with marketing theories. On a personal level, my university years gave me the chance to broaden my horizons beyond my small Brixton (south London, where I grew up) bubble and encouraged me to become more open minded.
