A multi-disciplinary designer mostly focused on Digital and Interaction Design, UI, UX, Motion Graphics, and Illustration.
I started as a júnior web developer, and have been working as a digital designer for the past 8+ years. Programming and working with databases gave me the ability to have a better understanding of how coding works, therefore, improved my way of thinking about design too.
Having this knowledge with coding, even though I’m far from being a developer, helps me to understand, solve, and anticipate issues that sometimes are common but can be an easy trap.
Nowadays, I’m still interested in front end development, even though I don’t actually code.
Personally I think that design is not just about having the right colors and making things look pretty. Design is a discipline that allows us to solve problems through form and/or communication.
For me, working on things that people actually use and find helpful, is my main focus.
