About me

Hi! My name is Ilaria and I am a junior product designer. I was born in Verona, Italy, but I currently live in Milan. I finished my studies in industrial/product design at the European Institute of Design – IED in July 2017. Due to my recent studies, I’ve learned the approach to the anthropocentric design process, namely design in function of the people: starting from the analysis of the user and, from it, creating a specific and functional object. Nevertheless, I would like to maintain a creative and artistic vision in my design. I grew up as an art lover and my family has always taught me the importance of creativity. My father is a brilliant man with an inventive mind and he instilled me the ability to see different objects in a brand-new way. Besides, I’ve gained the capability to upcycle and to create colourful pieces of furniture. So today, my aim is to develop this spirit even in my production and to create emotional objects that spread positive feeling.
