I moved to London from Rome right after my degree in Translation and Interpretation and I have been working as a freelance columnist and sub-editor for Citywire, a London-based financial publishing and information group that provides news, information and insight for professional advisers and investors globally, for almost three years. My copy for the short movie "Humanz" has won The Film Bunch competion and was produced and screened at the Bookclub in London last April. Also, my short story "Il sesso della Margherita" was published in the e-book "Trenta racconti italiani". I am currently working on the script of a bilingual (IT-ENG) comedy/drama webseries called Julia (by Terrible People Prod.); the pilot episode will be released in September.

I currently work as a freelance columnist and sub-editor for Citywire, where I write a column about trends for young people in the financial world called "Trendflix" and I sub-edit all the Italian content of the Consulenza Evoluta mag, choosing suitable pullquotes, titles, standfirst and graphic ideas, liasing with freelance writers and journalists from the editorial team. I review the final product together with the editor who signs off print proofs.
Before going freelance and dedicate myself to my own writing projects, I was responsible for the project managing of three monthly magazines: Consulenza Evoluta, Modern Investor and Citywire Switzerland. Citywire's magazines are usually concerned with the global intermediated asset management industry, and therefore aimed at the intermediaries – such as financial advisers, stockbrokers, wealth managers and private bankers.
As far as the mag production is concerned, my tasks included, but were not limited to: scheduling, flat planning, copy chasing, liasing with printers (getting quotes, raising print orders, checking proofs etc.), liasing with mailing houses, general go between for sales, editorial and design. I also did print design works for sponsored articles using Indesign.

During this specialization course I learnt the basics of filming, with a focus on working in the post-production field, especially as far as Subtitling, Voiceover and translation of TV and Radio scripts are concerned. I provided subtitles (Eng->Ita) for the movie "Question mark", which was produced by Erick Thohir and screened at the Eastern Film Festival in Rome in 2015.
