I have been working at Myla and Davis salons in South East London for
the past six years and during this time have progressed from a salon
assistant to a member of the management team. I have loved my role
here and have gained much invaluable experience such as team
working, leadership, problem solving, customer service, working
under pressure and much more.
I feel that it is now the right time to move on from this role and start
to work towards a career more suited to my own personal goals and
ambitions. Since graduating from university I have thrown myself into
my own personal projects of which you can take a look at here:
Work history
Lead Creative

I support families by creating and designing art and craft activities for
them to use and enjoy whilst they are visiting relatives in prison.
This work is particularly rewarding for me as it combines many of my
own personal interests such as textiles, 3D building, drawing and
working with both adults and children.
Assistant Manager
London, United KingdomFull Time
My role at Myla and Davis is mostly the looking after of all the salon
assistants over three locations. I am the direct manager of around 15
assistants, I organise and run inductions for new starters as well as
regular weekly training. My role is busy and challenging, I pride
myself in being an expert in the brand and business. Even though no
two days in the salon are the same, knowing everything there is to
know about the day to day running of the business means that I am
the go to person for most issues and queries from staff, clients and
business contacts.
