About me

Hi, I'm Iman, from Chicago. Culture, people and meaningful encounters have always been a fascination to me. This is perhaps why I chose to study bio-cultural anthropology at Northwestern University, what inspired me to spend 8 weeks in China, and what has now lead me to an overseas journey that has taken me to Denmark and currently, Holland. I seek creativity and inspiration from all around, but especially from personal encounters and travels. Leaving my home in Chicago last summer to live in Europe with people from all over the world has pushed me so far out of my comfort zone, but has taught me invaluable lessons on issues like self-care, communication, open-mindedness, patience, living in the moment, and never taking anything for granted. Through the years, my professional skills have grown to encompass sales, customer relations, branding, marketing & pr, content marketing, visual communications, market research, social media and copywriting. My interests and passions revolve around finding the best independently brewed coffee, dreaming of the coolest fashion and sneakers, reading, taking pictures on my iPhone 6 plus (while anxiously wishing for the iPhone x), growing my social media, discovering the best music, traveling, sharing my love for skincare, and slowly becoming an advocate for self love and mental health.
