After more than ten years of travelling and working worldwide, I have now found a home in Porto, Portugal. I look back on more than a decade’s experience in language-related subjects. I have coached and tutored young people. I have built a network of fellow translators. I helped learners worldwide to communicate in German. During my journey, I have seen the world. I also found my passion for translating, editing, and writing.

I review German marketing, UX, product (descriptions, fitting advice, gender fluidity fit), and editorial copy according to house style; German website content and communications to ensure all content reaches the necessary standards, whilst retaining the distinct Farfetch voice. I check the accuracy of copy against images and grammar, spelling and formatting and ensure all copy is clear and localised where relevant. To ensure the tone of voice is kept consistent across all channels, I work closely with the Localisation Lead German.
