Projects
  • Public Book
Public BookI created and produced a book installation - and multiples in a traditional form of the book - which content is to be read in public and challenges today's society lack of engagement with their senses at will to think laterally, to make a change and behave differently - more in tune with their humaness. This was placed in Waterloo station, a challenging environment. This is an ongoing project which is now going to be on exhibition in a totally different setting - Camberwell New library - so I gather data on how do people read and engage with reading in public about changing behaviour.
  • Fun Times
Fun TimesCo-founded this multi arts space with Eric Perera, in Hackney Wick and opened it for just over six months. I was producing and organizing music events, curating exhibitions and other main events to fundraise and re-invest in the space, whilst allowing the neighbouring community to use the venue during the week as a studio/rehearsal space. This allowed for example for yoga classes, a juggling/flair club, jam sessions, theatre rehearsals and a fortnightly self-initiated community dinner.
