About me
A creative and versatile individual with a wide and varied skill base. An experienced designer with excellent sales and project management skills. I have honed my skills by setting up and running a successful Interior Design Practice working alongside architects to provide a complete end to end service. In 2019 I joined Harvey Jones as a Kitchen Sales Designer, enabling me to further develop my knowledge of the high-end and hand-crafted kitchen market. Enhancing my sales skills to manage my own leads and sales pipeline, meeting and exceeding my KPIS. Liaising closely with specifications into the production side of the business. Upselling at every turn as well as selling external products such as appliances and worktop materials. Sound knowledge of all aspects of the business with strong project management skills and great customer care. Prior to moving into the design industry, I worked for 16 years as a senior banqueting manager within the four- and five-star luxury hotel market. Used to running large scale events and managing teams of people.
I’m highly organised and extremely reliable with a wealth of experience and knowledge within the design business. Combining excellent communication skills with a ‘can do’ attitude. Excellent training skills with strong business acumen. Great customer care and attention to detail have stood me in good stead in all of my previous roles. I love a challenge and am always trying to push the boundaries. I’m easy to work with, considerate of others, and I maintain my sense of humour at all times.

Working on a more strategic level to develop the events department and team.
- Carried out an overview of the inhouse system Jonas and create new procedures to increase profitability and better working practices. Wrote all new SOPs for the whole system. Implement training where needed.
- Carried out a pricing exercise to look at the overall profitability of the department by working out departmental staffing costs / competitor price analysis/ menu price GP and profit analysis.
- Consult on new event Contract/ Terms & Conditions and the implementation of new procedures.
- Create Performance review documents for the department along with Training logs. Succession planning.
- Setting up a new induction programme and training programmes for all new starters particularly event office based.
- Set up and implement a new forecasting system for the department to offer bi weekly reporting.
- Analysed the sales and the level of business on the books produced reports accordingly.
