About me
Hamburg-based product designer and artist Irem Seda Güney was born in 1995 in Izmir, Turkey and graduated from Eskisehir Anadolu University, in 2018, in Product Design (BA). Afterward, she moved to Hamburg and completed her master's degree in Hamburg academy of Arts (HfbK) in 2021. Her work concentrates on using materials in a functional and aesthetically pleasing way. She likes to explore the possibilities a material can offer and studies the limits of a material. She also works to create sustainable products which needs less resources, easy to produce and also long-lasting. Color-notes link helps children to understand musical language better. A color-notes link on a musical toy is a valuable tool for a child's musical development. By associating each note with a specific color, children can begin to recognize and remember musical patterns and melodies more easily. This can also help children to develop their ear training and music theory skills at an early age.

  • Flip Chair
Flip ChairFlip Chair" is an outdoor chair designed with the idea of using the two surfaces of a simple chair with two different functions. From this point on, one side of the chair is designed for sitting while eating or working and the other side for lying and relaxing. By flipping from oneside to the other, it can be used very easily at different times of the day.
  • O-D Sunglasses
O-D SunglassesO-D are frameless glasses, which completes the form by the lenses. Its open design allows consumers to get involved in the design process as they can create their own lens shape. I wanted to create a eyewear structure which is simple and linear so it gives maximum space to the lenses, not only from the buttom but also top side.
