About me

I am Irina and I am a Bucharest-based self-taught illustrator. My main professional focus at the moment is creating concept-based editorial or commercial illustration. I have created so far travel, sports, interior design or fashion themed illustrations, but I am always focusing on expanding my interest and practice area through new, challenging collaborations. My style The aim of my illustration is to deliver a storyline by using and mixing counterintuitive concepts, ”fluid” characters and atmospheric decors.Playing with light and shadow, the oozing compositions, the color palette and the subtle use of textures are the main tools of my visual storytelling process. Visual stamps I dream about traveling the world whilst illustrating it and building my home-studio in the midst of a summer garden, so you will probably not be surprised if luscious settings mixed with feminine beauty and shapes, leafy greenery streams and some colorful vacation vibes will often catch your eye while scrolling through my portfolio.
