My interests lie in technology and social behaviour; finding new ways to approach the current status quo and see potential implications of change. During my MA studies I expanded my understanding for the need of critical thinking, analysis and communication. Previously, I have worked as a designer but also gained experience from various administrative roles, which have given me an excellent comprehension to the day-to-day running of a studio. I have also years of experience within customer service; being in direct contact with customers as well as via phone, email and chat. Working in an environment with like-minded and ambitious creative individuals would be ideal as I can contribute greatly to an innovative team.
Technology and design related research as a Freelancer
I worked alongside the team on projects for private and public sector, such as NHS, helping with research planning & delivery, and assisting at events and workshops.
Part-time position which I undertook during my MA studies. My key responsibilities at Sitel were to identify and assist on resolving issues arising from direct customer contact.
Working as a creative assistant I developed graphics and layouts; researched and created branding and assisted with finalising of the newest collection.
I worked for the company from sketching and prototyping to manufacturing of my own lighting series ‘Modulo’ for Innolux Design Collection.
My role as an assistant included maintenance of London Design Guide website; content editing & proofing of images before publishing. I also worked as part of an exhibition team at the London Design Festival 2010.
