Isaac Bokoko is a Director and Cinematographer of Congolese, Guadeloupe, and Welsh mixed heritage, from North London Islington. Isaac’s passion lies in visual storytelling.
Growing up in North London Isaac’s work has naturally been influenced by his community, and this has become a pivotal theme within both his narrative and documentary work.
The varying ways in which Isaac explores community is evident in his work as DOP on projects including I Need To Talk To God, a short film available on Apple TV, as well as his directorial debut and award-winning short film Benchwarmers, funded by the Roundhouse. Isaac finds real creative interest in exploring the small, often-overlooked parts of our everyday lives, and continues to draw on social realism to inform his work.
Isaac's experience expands across the industry, working with notable brands and companies including The NHS, Fullyfocused Productions, Peabody, Netflix and Apple.
