My name is Isabel Cor and I am a graphic designer. I have spent the last two years studying a two-year degree in graphic and printing graphics after finishing my bachelor’s Degree of Art in English Studies and Communications.
Since I have always had a keen interest in arts I have been complementing my training with several online courses that have helped me to take a more in-depth approach to my own projects. I chose to study design and communication because I was interested in learning the theory behind a grat massage and then be able to execute my own.
In addition, the multiple presentations and exhibitions I had to go through during my education years have allowed me to acquire excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
To improve my skills and transfer the learned theory into practical work, I decided to undertake several internships in different areas. I have worked as an intern in a communication company in Spain called Cronistar Productions where I was in charge of editing and translating texts for different projects and events. At Juan Gallego Design Studio I was a graphic designer assistant making all kinds of graphic and creative content for different fields (advertisement, editorial, packaging, branding...). Eventually I moved to London where I worked at Cent. Magazine (an online magazine focused on the creative world covering art, design, fashion, architecture and more…) here I was responsible for the creative artwork for the website also and I also assisted in the communication department and social media management covering events such as the London Fashion Week or the Gauguin Portraits exhibition at The National Gallery.
Thus, over the last few years I have been trying to immerse myself more and more in the world of art trying to improve my skills and learn new things everyday.
