I was born in 1978 in Santa Margherita Ligure, Italy. I graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan. Between 2001 and 2006 I worked in photographic studios in Milan and London. After an internship at the Contrasto agency, in 2006 I began working on personal projects, which immediately focused on the women: over the years I have dealt with issues of rights, maternity in different countries, and women’s achievements and talents as represented in multiple professions. In 2010 I chose to specialise with a Master at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Arhus, Denmark. In 2012 I took portraits for the installation Inside Out - L'Italia sono anch'io in Milan, by the French artist JR, in collaboration with a/B/c/M. In 2015 I was one of the winners of the The Other Hundred contest with a project on female entrepreneurship in Poland. In 2018 I took part in the Rencontres Photo Albert Kahn in Paris and in the Family Portait exhibition at the DOCfield festival in Barcelona. In 2022 my Custodians of Beauty project received a special mention at the Soroptimist – Storie di Donne photography award, the work was presented at the Monfest in Casale Monferrato. Years ago I started an archive of portraits of figures from the world of culture, art, literature, music, currently distributed to the French and international press by the Paris-based Opale.photo agency. My images have been published on various magazines including: Marie Claire, Le Monde, Libèration, Io Donna, The Sunday Times, L'Espresso, The New York Times, The Guardian Weekly, De Volkskrant. She worked for clients such as: Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, Ogilvy, Bulgari, Giulio Einaudi Editore, Archant Dialogue / Bentley Home, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Cuoio di Toscana, Healthware International / Merck, Gilead Sciences. I joined to Women Photograph international network in 2018 and the Foreign Press Association in Italy in 2022
