As an Account Assistant for the Food PR team, my day-to-day role requires me to support the rest of the team operationally, maintaining and organising the systems that act as the lifeblood to the organisation. Keeping up with email correspondence on a daily basis, to maintain relationships with the clients and media outlets.
Working on ad-hoc projects, to help develop our strategic plan and ensure its seamless implementation.
Regularly involved with writing press releases and media alerts for our clients, securing client approval before dispersing them via our media outlets.
Helping with media campaigns for various brands, working with trade, consumer press and influencers to promote various NPD launches and a recent rebrand.
To constantly develop my role, and achieve success, I work on enhancing my written and verbal communication skills, time management skills and the organisational mindset of operations. I am diligent and hard-working, with an ability to work quickly and efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously

Supported physicians through dealing with patient requests, maintaining business systems, answering inbound requests, scheduling appointments, screening emails, invoicing patients and reconciling aged receivable payments.
Proved my organisational and numerical skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to de-escalate difficult situations in a high-stress working environment. There were regular patients who had a tendency to be difficult and in these situations needed to be treated with a calm but assertive attitude otherwise it escalated extremely quickly.
Operationally managed medical stock control, ensuring the correct medication/vaccinations were always on-hand should they be required. This included managing the partnerships with various pharmaceutical suppliers, to ensure seamless operations with our stock control.
