A Soho based design, publishing and branding agency specialising in brand creation and launch Main Client: The Doyle Collection International hotel group with 8 luxury properties in London, Dublin, Cork and Washington D.C. Role: The Doyle Collection engaged with Brave New World to rebrand and reposition the hotel group in the luxury hospitality market. I acted as sole Project Manager throughout the pitching and implementation process creating project plans, tracking the overall budget and managing a team of 10 designers, editors and freelancers. Throughout the 12-month project I worked directly with the client’s senior management and marketing division acting as the main agency contact. Final output under my direct management included: over 500 items of operational and POS collateral; a new group website; four independent restaurant identities and microsites; a collection of media banners and a suite of new photography by Simon Brown. A design lead Chinese language tool and lifestyle brand illustrated by graphic artist Noma Bar. Accomplishments: • Awarded prestigious D&AD Pencil in 2015. Credited as ‘Production Manager’ • Awarded the Wallpaper* Design Award 2014 for “Life-Enhancer of The Year” • Nominated and exhibited at the Design Museum’s “Designs of the Year” exhibition 2014 • Publication of “Chineasy: The New Way to Read Chinese” - sold to 14 countries • Increase of Facebook fans from 1,000 to 80,000 in 10 months under my management • Successful Kickstarter campaign raising total of £197,000 (Target amount £75,000) Role: Working directly with creator, ShaoLan Hsueh, to develop and maintain the Chineasy brand. Starting at the project’s infancy, I acted as Chineasy’s Project Manager & Brand Manager, handling all aspects of the brand’s development, working directly with the creators and managing my team with a large degree of autonomy. My role included the: • Team Management of designers in creation of promotional material, social media assets and merchandise guaranteeing on delivery on deadline and budget. • Brand Management of all Chineasy channels including content produced by 3rd parties • Copy writing for the Chineasy Book, Kickstarter campaign, Facebook page and articles for press which were featured in the Financial Times, Evening Standard, Sunday Times, Metro & Wallpaper* • Social media strategy & CMS management for Chineasy website and Facebook page utilising SEO tools, Facebook Analytics, Hootsuite, Wordpress and Umbraco • Workflow & Production Management of design team in the illustration, flat plan development & print production for the Chineasy Book – published by Thames & Hudson • Representing the agency and brand in external meetings with publishers, developers, animators, designers, and investors. • Interpretation & presentation of quantitative research to share holders and 3rd parties for partnership potential e.g. Focus Groups, Google Analytics & AdWords
