Prepared shot lists, monitored sound using a zoom recorder, researched the subjects background and intelligently interviewed all subjects to expose facts and construct a narrative. Conscientiously directed and edited an award winning film (Oh Syria, My Syria) that captured the quintessential aspects of the Syrian plight to escape a war torn Syria and live life inside Zaatari. Shot on Sony EX-1 and Canon 60D. Wrote proposal for documentary that gained my crew access to film. Interviewed on BBC Television/Radio about the film.
Directed and wrote a 2.5D parallax still-image Neo-noir fiction film called The Last Man. Voice acted, used 5D Mark III for photography, helped the acting talent get into character, brought in makeup artists, lit scenes with tungsten lights and kino flos.
