That Fangirl Life is the all-in-one platform that champions female fans, led by a podcast series every week hosted by fangirls themselves. As the Web and Socials Manager, my responsibilities lie largely in the platform's backstage areas, creating digital content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinekdIn, managing and utilising analytics, whilst preparing for the launch of our website in the Summer of 2021.
Community management is a huge part of my role, and engaging with fans on a level that we all appreciate and understand is key. For too long, female fans, in particular, have faced ridicule for their passions and interests. That Fangirl Life is the platform to tell them that we completely understand their experience, and deliver the confidence to allow them to embrace their fangirl personas.
