About me
Having an impressive experience with texts, I also produce video and multimedia projects. I am an author and producer who can pack the necessary meaning in almost any form: from mailing lists to videos for YouTube.
Since my work experience is related to various fields (from politics to IT companies), I can tell you not only about the person but also about the new technological tool and service in the right format. The knowledge of foreign languages allows me not only to find additional information and interesting characters but also to convey their stories to a global audience.
As a journalist, I learned how to communicate with different people even in extreme situations. According to the experience of working both in small companies and global corporations, I feel confident in teams of various sizes and fit into the corporate culture.
I can work remotely (using Trello, Notion, and Slack). I plan my work schedule based on tasks and follow deadlines with actively involved in work processes.
In addition to working on assignments, I like to do personal projects. For example, after winning the competition for journalists from the Swedish Institute of Press and HackPack grant in 2016, I made a multimedia project about hermits on the edge of Russia. Also, after winning the competition from the International Center for Journalists in 2017, I have been training for a month in the US media and listened to lectures from representatives of the world's largest media (NYT, Washington Post, etc.)
I seek inspiration in human stories, music, and travel. In my opinion, the last point is the most important for the knowledge of the world.
Projects
- I Want To Go Home YouTube travel seriesCulture Shock is an adventure travel documentary about people living in very unusual places that seem to be parallel realities. Real life of third-world countries showed through personal stories of their citizens and crazy adventures of the show's host - Leonid Pashkowski, a traveler from Belarus.
- Far East RobinsonsThey do not have TV and smartphones. For food, they need to sail to a neighboring island. Even the beds had to be made by ourselves. I went to the Far East and spent a week with a family of modern hermits, who have been living in the tsar’s powder cellar of the 19th century for more than 20 years. Independent multimedia project.
- How Shies lives. One of the most scandalous construction projects in RussiaActivists have been on duty at Shies, a small railway station in the Arkhangelsk region, for nine months. These people are not stopped by the need to live in tents in the heat and cold, and their supporters throughout the region have repeatedly come out to rallies of many thousands. It’s all about the landfill that Moscow authorities decided to build here for rubbish from Moscow renovation. Local officials see this as a serious investment in the regional budget, the developer as an opportunity

As an independent producer and author of documentary projects I participated:
- In the development and production of the new season of the YouTube travel series "I Want to Go Home" (Culture Shock), it has more than 600 thousand subscribers. I found heroes from other countries, conducted preliminary interviews in English and Spanish, and thought over the logistics of filming.
- I wrote and produced filming for foreign corporate publications in English. In particular, for the Mining & Construction magazine of the Swedish company Epiroc, where I organized articles on new technological solutions in the mining industry.
