There are so many talented African artists, creatives and designers without a platform to share their vision and I want Zanele to be the platform where they are able to showcase their talents on a global scale. There is an ever-growing demand for African style products, especially after the release of Black Panther in early 2018 which helped to change people’s perceptions of African heritage – one that people have been trying so hard to change for decades! These days people are unapologetically African and with a lack of demand for African style products here in the UK, a marketplace like this is perfect.
