About me
IYANU is a London based Textile designer and a walking personification of her work. Her natural instinct in design infiltrates her work, resulting in an exciting combination of graphics, composition and colours. Her designs have a unique identifiable signature. This is exemplified in all her work, whether it’s her prints, knit, photography or illustrations; all are full of character, personality, energy and dedication. A true embodiment of her. IYANU celebrates her trans-cultural identity by fusing her Nigerian roots with her British upbringing. This combination of unconventional styles enables her to express creative freedom in her designs. She successfully completed a BA(Hons) in Textiles (2013) and was selected for ‘The Cass School of Art & Design postgraduate scholarship where she completed a Masters degree in Fashion & Textiles (2014). During her educational design development, she won ‘Hedonism Award’ and ‘Best in Show’ at the graduate exhibition

Filled with an explosion of colours the designs connect to the richness of the African culture and British diversity. In this transcultural world YOUTH is a fusion o
