No one wanted to give me a job, so I made one. For the last 3/4 years, I've built and worked within 2 full-service creative agencies, with the aim of gaining experience at director and management level and I’m proud to say, I’ve learnt a lot in doing so. I’ve learnt the value of teamwork, project management, communication, emotional intelligence and leading a team on a single focused vision. Before that, I gained a lot of experience in face to face roles, retail work, sales and working as a brand ambassador/Promoter. I have knowledge and advanced skills in photography, videography, graphic design and web design and development. In addition to this very comfortable with the Adobe suite and pick up new skills quickly. I spend time actively learning new software and keeping up to date with changing trends in design and creativity. Within the creative agencies, I was responsible for a number of other things such as account management, allocating and working with budgets, working closely with clients, negotiating prices and managing expectations and outcomes. I want to get back into a working environment and take what I’ve learnt over the last three years and become an asset within a dynamic creative agency with a vibrant and progressive culture. I have gained vast experience over three years within digital creative agencies’, and I believe the knowledge and skills built up during this time make me the perfect candidate for this role. Work In Progress Ltd is a dynamic participatory arts organisation. This position focuses on digital content and marketing elements of business within Work In Progress and the youth-led branch, Priority Five. There is also a strong focus on leading development and delivery of activities, but also working on the strategic business developments and innovative programmes leading the company into a new future. Duties also include developing new business opportunities in line with the core purpose of Work In Progress Arts Ltd, including co-leadership of Priority Five and the development of new programmes for the benefit of young people across the West Midlands.

Shortly after starting the NUBI Group Limited, we created NUBI Magazine. NUBI is an online publication, reaching and marketing content to the millennial demographic with the goal of writing creative, opinionated content that was less blasé than some of the massive publications and click bait type platforms. NewUrban is the latest online publication focusing more of the creative mind behind brands, musicians, entrepreneurs and movers and shakers within the millennial demographic. Over the past 2 and a half years we have worked with and managed over 100 student writers/contributors and at one time had over 40 writers on board. It’s managed to amass over 19,000 likes, 5000 followers on twitter and gain on average 35-40,000 unique visitors per month. My main duties we’re; • Building and maintaining the NUBI website. • Recruiting new talent in various fields and then project managing and ensuring deadlines were kept and to a high quality. • Editing/checking/creating and proofing content. • Data analytics and then implementing changes based on results. • Social media management and strategy. www.nubimagazine.com

NUBI guys is our full service digital creative agency, NUBI Magazine is an online publication, reaching and marketing content to the millennial demographic and NewUrban is the latest online publication focusing more of the creative mind behind brands, musicians, entrepreneurs and movers and shakers within the millennial demographic. I gained experience within this role around the areas of; • Account and relationship management with brands and SMEs. • Project management. • Purchasing our digital marketing services. • Enhanced organisational skills and computer literacy. • Taking on roles of; creating, uploading, proof reading and designing content from videos to written articles. • Building and managing large teams of 30/40 writers. • Researched and developed methods of analysis for the website and our social media platforms for future evaluation of performance and monetisation. Continued use of analytical tools for content analysis and focus, including Google Analytics and Ad-Sense. • Obtaining new clients, writing proposals and pitching to them. Over the past 2 and a half years we have amassed a large social media following, with our website receiving on average 20-30k unique visitors per month, which peaked at 144k in May 2016. www.nubiguys.com
Leaving university, I founded Kings of Design an agency that did things differently. We worked with a number of clients across various sectors, which included project management from initial ideation to signing the final outcomes off. This included negotiation of prices and managing expectations and ensuring the team made deadlines both in-house and client deadlines.
My first serious exploration with art and design. Learning CAD, Fashion & Textiles, 3D, Fine Art, and Art History. Specialising in Art History and 3D in my second year, and focusing on 3D for the Final Major Project. Finishing with DDM. (2 distinctions & a Merit)
