I am an animator / illustrator who loves diverse bodies and capturing the human form, in still and moving image. Hand drawn animation is my focus but I love experimenting with stop motion and exploring the boundaries of moving image. I'm passionate about feminism, body positivity, and exploring the relationships we form with those around us.
I enjoy making tiny houses, experimenting with clay, painting myself and swimming in my spare time.
Projects
- St Mellitus Organ Restoration IllustrationsI illustrated several images to accompany a walking tour throughout the area local to St Mellitus near Finsbury Park. The tour explained the importance of some streets and buildings in relation to the First World War and highlighted one families story in particular. The images are also being used in local school presentations educating further generations about their community history.
- A Children's Animated Introduction to the Pipe OrganThis animation was funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the St Mellitus Organ Restoration Project. I worked as the sole animator and designer, with client feedback, to create this minimalistic animation for children to understand how a pipe organ works in simple terms, and learnt a lot about how one works myself! I thoroughly enjoyed working on this film, five months of which were during my final year of my degree.

I am currently working on a project for the Hibiscus Women's Centre in London, an organisation that helps women who have been abused or trafficked by aiding with legal work and as a designated safe space. I am designing a poster to showcase the what the centre offers to the women who visit it and I have been tasked to incorporate "I" statements gained from a five year progress report.

I animated, lined, and coloured a one-minute short that features cat walk cycles, lip syncing, and character animation.

I graduated from UCA with a First Class degree in Animation. Throughout my time at UCA I worked on five animated productions, directed three short films exploring Female Genital Mutilation, Shibari, and Body Positivity respectively and worked on a client led project for the charity CATTS. I independently conducted interviews with human rights activists, explored software such as TVPaint, Clip Studio Paint and the Adobe Suite and gained a plethora of valuable skills.
