Hello! My name is Izzy Sigston, I'm twenty-one-years-old and originate from the wonderful county of Essex. I have recently moved back home after three amazing years living in Brighton, where I studied music journalism and pulled a hell of a lot of pints.
As a recently unemployed bartender, and post uni student, when I'm not investing all of my time scrolling the depths of LinkedIn I actually participate in some of my favourite hobbies (oh she's interesting), these include:
Jimi
My four-year-old cockapoo. The absolute love of my life. One of my favourite activities to do, summer or winter, is to take Jim on long walks through various woods or nature reserves. Despite excessive sweat or numb hands, the incentive is always a stop in the pub afterwards.
Craft Alcohol
Yes, I am twenty-one, not seventy-one. Over the last couple of years I've found one of the simple pleasures in life is to savour alcohol (every once and a while), this often leads me spending about half an hour in B&M's booze section browsing the funkiest looking gin and beer.
Music
The main one really. Music is my main passion in life to be completely transparent about it. If I'm not spending hours at a time on Spotify, I'm deciding which vinyl to put on, when I'm not doing that - I'm deciding what vinyl to buy! I've grown up being surrounded with music, thanks to my dad serenading me with Arctic Monkeys when I was five, admittedly I did hate it at the time, but here I am today - obsessed with the sodding band (I've got a huge AM themed tattoo slapped across my arm). Some of my other favourite artists include: Tame Impala, Wolf Alice, Tom Misch and Loyle Carner.
