A recent graduate looking for opportunities to showcase the skills gained at university and various work experiences. Interests • Entertainment law • Legal research • Intellectual Property Law • Criminal Law • Tort Law • Medical Law • Environmental Law Jóiux is a passionate advocate for Black Lives Matter & making room for social justice for all. She has completed a range of diversity & inclusivity projects throughout 2020 and has most recently been appointed as an Alumni inclusivity ambassador. Writing is an untapped talent which Jóiux has sought to use during the pandemic. She is currently working on a primarily approved law journal article about fast fashion, the law and environment. Community and giving back is a key element in Jóiux’s journey to becoming a barrister. She has found ways to pinpoint and resolve issues such as the invisibility of BAME students within education, recently sitting on a degree revalidation panel and voicing concerns which have been raised by her peers. During her studies, Jóiux made time to volunteer at her local citizens advice centre and law forums, whilst also taking part in events such as mock trials and moots. Networking and helping others is an essential part of Jóiux’s goals in making education and the legal profession diverse and fair. She has recently endeavoured to help students at university by offering to proofread assignments for students of all disciplines, especially law. Feel free to connect, interact and message!
