Beam Suntory is a world leader in premium spirits which owns brands such as Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Laphroaig, Sipsmith and House of Suntory. I led the brand Sipsmith on all paid, owned and earned media channels.
• Strategic Leadership and Market Expansion: Developed and directed Sipsmith´s global digital marketing strategy, targeting critical markets such as the US, UK, Australia, Germany, and India. This includes increasing brand awareness and driving a DTC strategy for a global website and market specific e-retailers.
• Creative and Brand Positioning: Developed a new Sipsmith brand positioning & experience platform which included a 12 year strategy plan in collaboration with brand and commercial teams. Delivered Cannes Lions Award winning TVC and social content with Official Tennis Of Sipsmith Gin
• Partnership Management and Sponsorship: Managed key global partnerships and sponsorships, including a high-profile sponsorship of the Wimbledon Championships. This included a Cannes Lion Award for Mr Swan Official Tennis of Wimbledon, TVC and Social Campaign.
• Commercial Leadership & Financial Management: Managed my own digital and partnership budget & forecast with agencies, influencer and sponsorship contracts. Supported commercial teams to identify business goals through media amplification.
• Database and Social Media Growth: Successfully grew Sipsmith´s database by 30% in the UK and 5% in the US through targeted marketing campaigns and data-driven strategies. Grew social media followers by 12% within a year and boosting the average engagement rate to 4.2% vs 2.3% previous.
• Website Revitalization and User Engagement: Led a comprehensive refresh of the Sipsmith Global Website to mirror the brand´s new visual identity and bottle design. This initiative significantly improved user experience, resulting in a 14% increase in average session duration and a 38% rise in clicks from the homepage to shop pages.
• Innovative Data and Brand Strategies: Established a robust first-party data collection strategy. Spearheaded the digital launch and positioning of Sipsmith’s new bottle and brand identity.
