About me
Having recently graduated from a BA in French and Italian at Cambridge, I have now honed my language, translation, research and analytic skills. Alongside my academic career, I have continued to work as an assistant camera operator and runner as well as shooting and producing my own films and photography projects. Having worked in a variety of dynamic work environments (including two full-time internships during my year abroad during which I spoke exclusively in French), I excel at playing a fluid role within a team, adapting to unexpected circumstances, establishing positive and honest relationships and making considered decisions.

I recently graduated from my Modern and Medieval Languages degree with a predicted first (honours TBC due to strikes). I most recently completed my final year dissertation in French post-modern philosophy (Levinas, Nancy, Derrida, DeCerteau Butler) discussing the ethics of the Other in relation to the migrant crisis and contemporary cinema. Over the course of four years, I took modules in Italian cinema, political cinema, Dante, French literature from 1700-1900 (Voltaire, Baudelaire), French post-colonial literature (Césaire), and the Occitan troubadour lyric as well as putting my language skills into practice through modules in translation and a year abroad studying and working in France and Italy.
