Following three years of studying a variety of subjects I graduated with a 2:1 in English literature at University of East Anglia (UEA). I throughly enjoyed my areas of research, which include Contemporary Fiction, Film and Video Production, Modernism, Seventeenth Century Literature: Renaissance and Revolution, Shakespeare, The Writing of Journalism, Minor Literatures and Science Fiction. The course has improved my writing and analytical skills. Due to participating in 3 hour long seminars my debating skills have been challenged, as have my methods for preparing work towards a tight deadline. During my time at UEA I have studied independently producing two essays consisting of ten thousand words each term. At UEA I was a frequent member of many societies, which saw me take on a senior role and assume responsibility for the society as a whole.
