About me

I'm a third year Print Journalism at Nottingham Trent University. I am extremely passionate about music. I love to explore and find new sounds and artists. As I write a music blog, I tend to target my work around Hip-Hop, UK Rap, Grime, Drill and all things Urban. I am looking for the opportunity to break into the media industry, whether it would be writing, working behind cameras, or in front of them as I have been fully trained to work Premier Pro and Photoshop. All in all, I am just a passionate lad looking for my way into an industry that I have been obsessed with for as long as I can remember.

This is a local newspaper that I went to for a work placement as part of my university degree. Here I worked in a regular local newsroom, working with industry standard equipment and working towards deadlines within a very busy schedule.

This was another placement which was organised by my university as a part of my degree. During this time I worked mainly on editing and being able to find my own stories in a area that I was not familiar with. Again, this was a local newspaper, but the experience of working in a professional newsroom built heaps of confidence.
