Personal growth and development is the most important part of my working life, and now it is the right time to explore new opportunities in a creative and challenging role.

- Discover LiveLeading a long-term project to help protect small venues and emerging artists across the UK. Between Forty and Fifty percent of London's live music venues have closed since 2007, with thirty-five percent closing nationwide. Through creative media, we want to bring attention to those small venues that help so many emerging artists cut their teeth and to encourage more people to flock to them as they discover new music.

Big Indie has a fast-paced and dynamic working environment as their small team works to tight deadlines to produce monthly releases with emerging artists. This has been a great opportunity to work right where the action is which has so far been a challenging but an exciting experience.
In charge of seeking Brand Partnership and Sponsorship opportunities for the label, pitching for funding both for the label and for our artists and filming and editing creative content. Working closely with the Big Indie team helping with their marketing strategy through press releases and social media, as well as supporting the monthly live music events: Big Indie, Big Nights. Also responsible for A&R scouting as Big Indie looks to add great emerging artists to its growing roster.

For the last twelve months I have gained some experience and network in music by setting up a project called Discover Live which is dedicated to showcasing small venues in the UK, their impact and the challenges in which they face. We film interviews, sessions and host gigs to promote these venues and hope that the content encourages more people to support their important work. Live music is my passion and I wanted to use my resources and network to create something positive for struggling venues. Now I am interested in finding a role in the live music industry where I can grow and develop, moving Discover Live into an ‘extracurricular’ event.
My technical responsibilities are interviewing, filming, directing and editing live sessions in music venues. Recently we’ve worked with artists such as Fontaines DC, The Blinders and Shame. Other responsibilities include driving project management whilst liaising with venues, artists, their management and organizing gig nights from start to finish.
