As a graduate of Birmingham City University (both BA and MA) in English and Creative Writing, I have been allowed to broaden my own writing stylistically. This includes, prose, poetry, audio and screenwriting. I am able to commute to anywhere easily and work evenings and weekends and have experience working with members of the public, with a team and independently. Additionally, I am proficient with most forms of social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat), blogging sites (Wordpress) and office processing software. I am willing to learn any new skills in order to help me advance in multiple roles and have a growing portfolio of publications as a writer and editor and a personal blog.

I studied for a BA and MA in Creative Writing, graduating with a first class with honours and commendation respectively. As my vinyl collection grew, I wanted to find a way to document my favourite records, so I combined these two passions into the blog you see before you. It has since expended to cover cinema, television and video games. I now also incorporate news
- Journeys - AnthologyDuring my studies, I was selected along with a group of my peers to edit, produce and publish the university’s annual anthology of new writing. This involved issuing calls for submissions, producing our own work and editing. We aimed to have our anthology stand out from previous years, so worked together to secure Sir Lenny Henry to contribute a foreword. My individual role was to write and design the call for submissions, edit selected works and write the blurb that was used on publication.

Mercian PrizeBirmingham City University
During my 21st Century Poetry Module, we were required to produce a short collection of poetry as our final assignment, with the potential for further publication. For my anthology "Chemtrails", I received the Mercian Prize for Poetry, having demonstrated a strong knowledge of poetics and applying the practically. A poem from this collection, "Orange" was then published by Aesthetica.
