About me
I am a graduate of the University of Nottingham. I studied a joint honours degree in History of Art and Archaeology (BA) completing my course with upper second-class honours (2:1). Studying as a joint honours student has required me to use my time efficiently whilst juggling two individual disciplines. Whilst studying, I also hosted and produced a weekly radio show. I then went on to work as Producer of a podcast series called 'Sound Affects! with Julian Treasure' available online through CBS. This was a great experience which has progressed my technical knowledge of audio and helped me further my skills in research and creation of good radio. Personally, I am an avid film watcher and like to get to the cinema whenever possible. I also like to read a good book and am always open to any recommendations when it comes to an interesting story. I am currently looking for a five a-side league in London that I could get involved in. I play a few instruments including the bass guitar and ukulele and am self-taught on the piano (to an extent). Amongst all of that in my spare time I like venturing out into London to discover new places, whether it’s an art exhibition or a new place to eat. Currently looking for work.

The student-run radio station has finished first place in the BBC Student Radio Awards for five consecutive years including awards in best entertainment, news department and marketing/sound. The show required me to compile specific playlists for my genre whilst creating new features to prompt interaction with listeners. It also required my ability to use professional radio equipment

I managed the social media aspects of the show through sites such as Facebook and Mixcloud to keep in contact with listeners and give access to past shows and playlists. The radio show was chosen by the station to be entered for the 'Best Entertainment' award. Alongside the show I have performed as a DJ at a live venue in Nottingham.

I was part of 'University Radio Nottingham' or URN who have achieved the award of 'Best Student radio station' by the Student Radio Association for the past 5 years 2009-2014.
